The Proceedings of the 17th Brazilian Symposium on Software Quality (SBQS 2018) bring the papers selected and presented in the Curitiba/PR. In this issue, the proceedings include 38 full papers. These papers were selected through a blind review, from a total of 100 full papers submitted, which implied an acceptance rate of 138%. The event's program committee was coordinated by Tayana Conte (UFAM), Adriano Bessa Albuquerque (UNIFOR), and Monalessa Perini Barcellos (UFES) who organized this volume. The articles in this volume were submitted on 07/09/2018, accepted for publication on 08/20/2018, with the final version submitted on 08/27/2018.
