Agentes Móveis e Sistemas de Gerenciamento SNMP
Abstract
Security started to be a watchword due to the ever increasing worldwide use of the Internet. This work presents the integration of two systems. The first one, called NetTracker, is a network management system that uses the easiness of SNMP protocol. The second one consists of an Intrusion Detection System based on mobile agents. To fulfil this integration, a mobile agent has been developed. It works as a link between the two systems, receiving messages from the Intrusion Detection System and forwarding them to NetTracker. This union qualifies the Intrusion Detection System to use NetTracker’s features to counter to the detected intruders.
