DicomFlow: Um modelo de arquitetura para formação de uma infraestrutura de informação telerradiológica

Resumo


Uma Infraestrutura de Informação (II) oferece um espaço de compartilhamento de informações e colaboração que permite a associação espontânea de pessoas, organizações e componentes tecnológicos situados em contextos geográficos distintos para desenvolvimento de alguma atividade. II não são originadas de projetos especificados a priori, sua formação ocorre por meio da evolução de uma base instalada. A telerradiologia atual ainda não se constitui em uma II para prática radiológica, pois a inércia presente na sua base instalada dificulta sua evolução. Este trabalho apresenta o DicomFlow, um modelo arquitetural descentralizado, construído sobre as infraestruturas de e-mail e PACS-DICOM, que utiliza essa própria inércia para promover a formação de uma II para prática radiológica.
