The Proceedings of the 20th Brazilian Symposium on Information Systems (SBSI 2024) bring the papers selected and presented in the edition of the event held in Juiz de Fora/MG, Brazil, from May 20 to 24, 2024, which had the theme "Prospects and Trends in Information Systems for Digital Agriculture". In this issue, the proceedings include 71 full papers. These papers were selected through a single-blind review, from a total of 228 full papers submitted, which implied an acceptance rate of 31.1%. The event's program committee was coordinated by Johnny C. Marques (ITA), who organized this volume together with Williamson Silva (UNIPAMPA), SBSI 2024 publications chair. The articles in this volume were submitted on 12/10/2023, accepted for publication on 02/27/2024, with the final version submitted on 03/17/2024.
