2026: Proceedings of the 22nd Brazilian Symposium on Information Systems

The Proceedings of the 22nd Brazilian Symposium on Information Systems (SBSI 2026) bring the papers selected and presented in the edition of the event held in Vitória/ES, Brazil, from May 25 to 28, 2026, with the theme "Intelligent Information Systems: Innovations, Applications, and Ethics in Artificial Intelligence". In this issue, the proceedings include 67 full papers. These papers were selected through a double-blind review, from a total of 292 full papers submitted, which implied an acceptance rate of 23%. This volume was organized by Rodrigo Santos (UNIRIO) and Maria Claudia Emer (UTFPR), Research in Information Systems Track Chairs; by Paulo Malcher (UFRA), Luiz Paulo Carvalho (UFRRJ), Rodrigo Zacarias (UFF), and Washington Cunha (UNICAMP), Publications Chairs; and it was held under the general coordination of Karin Satie Komati (IFES) and Vítor Estêvão Silva Souza (UFES). The articles in this volume were submitted on 09/29/2025, accepted for publication on 12/19/2025, with the final version submitted on 02/09/2026.
