The Impacto of Intelligent Algorithms in a Tech Company: Méliuz
Abstract
Méliuz is a technology startup that in 2020 became the first to open shares (IPO) on the Brazilian Stock Exchange. This growth is due to the adoption of products based on intelligent algorithms and the adaptation of the development process of such products to the company's business strategy. This paper describes the history of the emergence of a team responsible for developing such solutions using intelligent algorithms, the process for developing such solutions, exemplified in two products, and some measurable results of the impacts that these products have generated on the company's business metrics.
