The Proceedings of the 41st Integrated Software and Hardware Seminar (SEMISH 2014) bring the papers selected and presented in the edition of the event held in Brasília, from July 28 to 31, as part of the 34th Brazilian Computing Society Congress (CSBC 2014) which had the theme "Social Systems and Mass of People Events: Expanding Challenges on Computing". The event's program committee was coordinated by Claudia Motta (UFRJ), Jonice Oliveira (UFRJ), and Leopoldo Motta (UFPE), who organized this volume. The articles in this volume were submitted on May 4, accepted for publication on June 10, with the final version submitted on June 20.
