Respostas emocionais da variação linguística: Análise exploratória de rastreio ocular
Abstract
An exploratory study of exposure of participants to variants of a socially salient linguistic variable, progressive palatalization, using eye tracking is presented to examine the processing of linguistic variation. The results show that exposure to the stigmatized variant captured participants' attention and increased participants' pupil dilation, which can be interpreted as evidence of an emotional response.References
