An investigation into the use of voice interfaces as foreign language practice tool
Abstract
Only 5.1% of the Brazilian population aged 16 and over say they have some knowledge of the English language. The one that with the phenomenon of globalization has become the international and business language. With the job market becoming more and more competitive, the role of English has changed, going from the privilege of the few to the need of the many. Through a literature review and quantitative research, the study aims to explore the problems that Brazilians encountered in the English language practice process. As a result, the application of the questionnaire revealed some latent difficulties among learners, making it opportune to intend to evolve with studies of voice interfaces in English practice.
