The Workshop on Social, Human and Economic Aspects of Software (WASHES) is an event held by SBC since 2016, as part of the Congress of the Brazilian Computing Society. The event focuses on the interaction among some critical issues that influence software engineering and quality. The impact of human factors and social aspects in software quality has been discussed by researchers and industry professionals since methods, techniques, and tools affect (and are affected) by stakeholders and their interactions. In the same way, the software is a source of value to the business of several organizations, suppliers, or buyers, representing an essential element for their economic success. The WASHES Proceedings are published annually, bringing the articles selected for each edition of the event.
