Abstract

This paper investigates the benefits and challenges in the post-pandemic period of Covid-19 through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) and an empirical study in the Information Technology (IT) sector in the state of Pará. The SLR analyzed 13 studies from four databases, indicating increased productivity and challenges such as balancing professional and personal life. The empirical study, conducted with managers and employees, revealed that flexibility and time savings were the main benefits, while social isolation and adaptation to new management approaches were the most cited challenges. The findings provide insights for future research on hybrid work models and organizational policies in the IT sector.
