The Proceedings of the 2nd Workshop of Applied Computing for the Management of the Environment and Natural Resources (WCAMA 2010) bring the papers selected and presented in the edition of the event held in Belo Horizonte/MG, Brazil, from July 20 to 23, 2010, as part of the 30th Brazilian Computing Society Congress (CSBC 2010) which had the theme "Green Computing: Scientific and Technological Challenges". In this issue, the proceedings include 08 full papers. These papers were selected through a peer review. The event's program committee was coordinated by Clodoveu Davis Júnior (UFMG), who organized this volume.
