Abstract

Society's interest in privacy protection has grown in recent years. Individual and governmental initiatives, such as the LGPD, have contributed, for example, to the observance of the rights of holders of personal data. In this context, the LGPD describes several duties that must be observed by organizations so that they can be considered in compliance with this legislation. One of these duties is providing information by controllers clearly and objectively. In this scenario, this work aims to evaluate the availability of LGPD information on Court of Accounts websites. Criteria for carrying out this evaluation were defined. As a result, it was possible to observe that this availability has been happening only by a subset of these organizations, which ends up imposing difficulties for data subjects in exercising their rights.
