Aumentando o Reúso de Especificações na Plataforma de Testes para a Camada de Codificação de Aplicações da TV 3.0
Resumo
TV 3.0 establishes the Application-Oriented Platform (AoP) as the core of the Brazilian digital TV receiver, integrating Ginga applications, viewer profiles, and home network devices. A distributed microservices-based testbed was recently proposed for experimenting with this platform. However, it lacks a reproducible infrastructure across heterogeneous environments and core functionalities for an experimentation testbed: validation mechanisms, documentation and data access control following the restrictions defined by ABNT NBR 25608. This work demonstrates that the testbed can be extended across all of its layers by leveraging an MQTT publish/subscribe ecosystem, a persistent Redis store, and full containerization. Three contributions are presented, one per layer. On the back-end, a native MQTT broker plugin enforces client access control, per-service consent verification, and JSON Schema payload validation. On the WebServices layer, a pair of API gateways with distinct roles provides JWT-based authentication aligned to the standard. On the visual layer, a new viewer-profile creation microfrontend compliant with ABNT NBR 25608 demonstrates that the interface can be extended without modifying existing components. The evaluation examines the reproducibility of the experimentation environment, comparing the configuration effort of the containerized architecture against the original testbed. The proposed extensions integrate without modifying existing components, confirming the testbed’s extensibility across its three layers.
