Resumo

This study aimed to develop and technically validate a markerless computer-vision-based mobile telerehabilitation prototype for post-stroke kinematic monitoring. An incremental software lifecycle was adopted, with requirements elicited through an integrative literature review. The accessible interface (WCAG 2.1 AA) was developed using Flutter, while the kinematic analysis service was implemented in Python using MediaPipe and OpenCV to analyze three exercises: elbow flexion, squat, and pinch grip. NumPy was used for numerical calculations and movement metrics, while ReportLab supported automated PDF report generation. Technical bench verification was conducted by the developers to calibrate the kinematic rules. The system supports automated repetition counting, detection of postural compensations, bilateral symmetry calculation, and analytical PDF report generation, while meeting contrast and accessibility standards. In conclusion, the preliminary verification demonstrated that the proposed application is a viable, accessible, and low-cost solution with the potential to decentralize post-stroke rehabilitation, establishing the technical baseline for future clinical trials.
