Resumo

TV 3.0 redefines the possibilities of audience participation in Brazilian terrestrial television. This position paper presents a proposal of an interaction application for the newscasts of university television stations, developed from a case study at TV UFMA. Focus groups were conducted in two stages: requirements elicitation, with separate sessions for viewers and station staff, and evaluation of the resulting interface prototype. The proposal articulates two complementary faces: a viewer-activated interactive layer and an AI-assisted news-room panel that converts audience participation into editorial data. The evaluation indicated approval of the non-intrusive design, preference for low-effort interactions, and demand for institutional response. The results suggest that interaction design grounded in listening to viewers brings university stations closer to the principles of Public Communication.
