Resumo

This work is inserted into a context-server where we extract the context whether it is mobile devices, user, physical or time of any activity performed by the user of the system. In this paper is presented the module responsible for handling any video submitted to the context-server, this module extracts the meta-data required for processing the video, then the video will be processed to meet the specifications of each type of hardware that can access it also the video is segmented into several parts with a fixed size as it is transmitted using HTTP Streaming.
