Abstract

The progress of science and technology coupled with the improvement of communication networks favoring the emergence of services to handle with growing volumes of data and the high transmission power available. There are many scenarios that include such features: telemedicine, sporting events, artistic events, techno-scientific events and so on. So, this work has the purpose of presentation a generic architecture that integrates all of these scenarios in a framework for developing applications related to digital video.
