Análise da Saúde Mental em Estudantes de Computação da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul
Resumo
Depressão, ansiedade e estresse são doenças incapacitantes e com uma incidência recorde em nossa sociedade. Estudantes universitários são particularmente vulneráveis a sintomas dessas doenças devido às várias mudanças ocorrendo em suas vidas. Este trabalho estuda estes sintomas em alunos do Instituto de Informática e da Escola de Engenharia da Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul. Para isso, usamos a ferramenta de rastreio DASS-21 e o Teste Qui-Quadrado e o Teste Exato de Fisher para a avaliação de fatores de risco. Os resultados deste estudo relacionam características dos alunos a frequência de episódios de depressão, o ambiente acadêmico e o suporte que ele oferece a graduandos com sintomas dessas doenças.
