Teacher Education in Computational Thinking: A Systematic Mapping of Literature

Abstract

Computational Thinking is a strategy for solving problems through the use of cognitive skills in the area of Computer Science. In this context, the article presents a systematic mapping of the specialized literature, the identification of methodological contexts and tools used for learning Computational Thinking for the continuing education of teachers in Brazil. It was found that the Scratch tool and the unplugged area are the most used employees through workshops and courses. In addition, we sought to list the main institutions and regions that published the most on the topic, as well as seeking to identify the main difficulties and definitions reported by the authors of the mapped studies.
