Application of the AIM-CID methodology to concepts in the Operating Systems discipline, in the process management domain
Abstract
The learning of concepts in Computer Science is often complicated because of the amount and the way these concepts are shown. The use of tools, objects and other features may allow the learning of the concepts to be better understood. The creation of an educational tool involves developing a robust and valid methodology. This work evaluates the methodology IMA-CID (Integrated Modeling Approach - Conceptual, Instructional and Didactic) applied on the concepts of process manager, which are part of the Operating Systems course. The evaluation presented here shows that the application of this model is valid because it can improve the learning of the concepts.
