Eleven years of WEI (2013 – 2023), a meta-scientific analysis
Abstract
CSBC is the most significant scientific event dedicated to computing in Latin America, integrating Brazilian computing and dealing with the direction of the area in the country. In one of its satellite events, WEI, we find investigations about teaching and learning computing and the use of computing in education. An meta-scientific analysis of the last decade of WEI allowed observing a very engaged and faithful community, concentrated in the North and Northeast, with productions of academic-scientific rigor in methodology and pragmatism in the search for solutions to the education challenges in Brazil.References
