Strategy for HCI remote teaching: experience report based on the results of the HCI teaching panorama

Abstract

This article presents an experience report of HCI remote teaching carried out in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. The strategies used in the course were based on the results of an article published in WEIHC, 2021 edition, which provides an overview of HCI teaching in Brazil, from 2016 to 2020. From this article, the three challenges of HCI teaching were selected more frequent and, for each challenge, a pedagogical teaching strategy was elaborated, also based on this panorama. The results show the students' and teachers' perception of the teaching strategies adopted in the discipline.
