Symbolic Environments of Agent Societies

Resumo


Este artigo analisa o conceito de ambiente simbólico de sociedades de agentes e examina como os sistemas simbólicos presentes em ambientes simbólicos representam formações culturais (entendidas em um sentido amplo: moralidade, legalidade, arte, ciência, política, religião, etc.) em tais sociedades. Considera, também, a noção geral de ator social e ilustra, através de um estudo de caso, como sistemas simbólicos podem suportar condutas dirigidas pela cultura em atores sociais de sociedades de agentes.
