Resumo

JaCaMo integrates agent reasoning, environment programming, and organizational modeling through Jason, CArtAgO, and Moise. Despite its modularity, Java-based CArtAgO artifacts hinder reuse across software ecosystems. This paper presents MagicArtifact, a generic CArtAgO artifact that connects to an external runtime through a JSON-based WebSocket protocol, obtains an Artifact Interface Description, dynamically registers operations, and maps remote results to CArtAgO signals and observable properties. The approach remains language-agnostic across compatible runtimes. A TypeScript proof of concept hosted social-media collection and sentiment-analysis artifacts. Using real services, it classified seventeen unique replies: five positive, ten negative, and two neutral, preserving JaCaMo’s interaction model.
