Defining Web Embodiment: Requirements for Embodied Intelligent Agents on the Web

A crescente integração entre agentes inteligentes e a infraestrutura da Web evidencia a necessidade de mecanismos que permitam representar esses agentes como participantes efetivos do ambiente, e não apenas como consumidores ou provedores isolados de serviços. Apesar de existirem modelos de corporeidade para agentes na Web, ainda não há uma definição clara sobre quais características uma corporeidade Web deve possuir para tornar um agente observável, interoperável e contextualizado em seu ambiente de atuação. Diante dessa lacuna, este trabalho apresenta uma sistematização do conceito de corporeidade para agentes Web por meio da definição de um conjunto de requisitos que orientam sua caracterização. São propostos oito requisitos que abrangem aspectos de agente situado, modelagem ontológica, observabilidade do comportamento, interoperabilidade, exposição de capacidades, disponibilidade para cooperação, autenticidade e finalidade funcional do corpo. Ao estabelecer esses critérios, o trabalho fornece um referencial conceitual para o desenvolvimento e a avaliação de futuras abordagens de corporeidade, contribuindo para que agentes possam ser incorporados à Web de maneira mais integrada, favorecendo processos de descoberta, interação e cooperação em ambientes distribuídos.
