WIDE aims to encourage discussion and exchange of ideas on topics involving interaction with data. The focus of this workshop will be to build a community around the area of Human-Data Interaction and create community knowledge through discussions and a final work, the result of a collective synthesis on the experiences of participants in the area. To achieve these goals, participants will present their latest work in the field of IHD through position papers and share their previous experiences on interacting with data. The workshop is primarily aimed at participants who already have previous experience in IHD or in related areas (e.g., data literacy, data visualizations, data science, etc.), who wish to present their work and discuss the rumors of the community in Brazil. Authors will be invited to submit works that articulate the areas of HCI and Human-Data Interaction, as well as innovative projects related to this theme with a special interest in social applicability and accessibility.
