Human-Data Interaction in the Context of Geoprocessing: Preliminary Results from Interviews with Experts
Abstract
The volume of data we utilize is increasing daily, as is the interaction with applications that use maps to present information to users. This study is part of an approach to developing design recommendations focused on the geoprocessing context, through interviews with specialists to understand activities in the geoprocessing field and identify the major limitations in the production of geoprocessing technologies. This paper presents preliminary results obtained from interviews with three specialists. The study will contribute to a master’s thesis along with other usability evaluation methods.
