PMIPFlow: Uma Proposta para Gerenciamento de Mobilidade em Redes Definidas por Software

Resumo


Com o crescimento de iniciativas “open source” e redes definidas por software, as redes de computadores estão saindo de um cenário onde o ecossistema de serviços e infraestrutura era fechado e proprietário e passa a ser aberto e livre. No entanto, esse avanço parece não ser realidade para redes sem fio, as quais ainda permanecem fechadas e proprietárias. Nesse contexto, este trabalho apresenta uma proposta de gerenciamento de mobilidade em redes definidas por software. A proposta é implementada em um testbed Openflow/IEEE 802.11(Wi-Fi) e a avaliação é conduzida utilizando tanto métricas de QoS(Qualidade de serviço) quanto de QoE(Qualidade de Experiência).
