Bibliothek: a PWA application for library management integrated with QR Code

Abstract

Library management is an activity that demands precision and efficiency, especially in educational settings. A library management manual is an inefficient and insecure process, resulting in potential information inconsistencies. This paper, which describes the development of a PWA web application, addresses the challenges faced by this library management manual. The system allows for personnel registration, book control, loan and return records with QR Codes, and report generation. The application was built based on interviews and validated prototypes with library managers, resulting in a responsive and practical tool for modernizing library management.
