A Proposal for measuring Attention and Engagement in the teaching process of Remote Classes

Abstract


This article presents a proposal for assessing students’ attention and engagement in remote learning environments. The goal is to understand students’ browsing behavior during classes. To this end, a Google Chrome extension is being developed to actively collect browsing data, enabling the generation of indicators and performance reports. As a partial result, local data collection was successfully validated through the prototype of the tool, demonstrating the feasibility of the proposed approach.
