The Proceedings of the 12th Workshop on Testing and Fault Tolerance (WTF 2011) bring the papers selected and presented in the edition of the event held in Campo Grande/MS, Brazil, on May 30, 2011, as part of the 29th Brazilian Symposium on Computer Networks and Distributed Systems (SBRC 2011). In this issue, the proceedings include 6 full papers. These papers were selected through a blind review from a total of 13 papers submitted, which implied an acceptance rate of 46%. The event was organized by The Federal University of Mato Grosso do Sul (UFMS). The General Chair was Luiz Eduardo Buzato (UNICAMP). The articles in this volume were submitted on 04/11/2011, accepted for publication on 04/25/2011, with the final version submitted on 05/02/2011.
The WTF is promoted by the Special Commission on Fault Tolerant Systems (CE-TF) of the Brazilian Computer Society (SBC).
The historical rescue of this edition, including the recovery of the files and the acquisition of the metadata, was carried out by Prof. Luiz Antonio Rodrigues (Unioeste) with special assistance from Prof. Elias P. Duarte Jr. (UFPR).
