The Brazilian Conference on Intelligent Systems (BRACIS) originated from the combination of the two most important scientific events in Brazil in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Computational Intelligence (CI): the Brazilian Symposium on Artificial Intelligence (SBIA), and the Brazilian Symposium on Neural Networks (SBRN). It is an itinerant event that takes place each year in a city in Brazil, in order to reach all regions and enable participation. The conference includes traditional and original topics from both fields and aims to promote theories and new applications dealing with the use and analysis of AI/IC techniques in various related fields. BRACIS also aims to promote research at an international level through the exchange of scientific ideas between researchers, professionals, scientists, and engineers. The Proceedings of BRACIS are published annually, bringing the articles selected for each edition of the event.
