Abstract

Observations of times of the planetary transit on front a host star is an usual technique to detect exoplanets. This technique can be used to detect other bodies disturbing the orbit of the planet in transit causing variations in the moments of eclipses. This paper presents a study of the planetary system WASP-4, using the Transit Analysis Package. The results of central moments of transit measurements showed that the chain numbers used in the MCMC, is critical to minimize the errors associated with the instants of transits. However, the values of the errors measurement presented with values > 50% compared to that observed in literature.
