SCAA - Student Attendance Control Software
Abstract
In Brazilian federal institutes there are several activities to support teaching. Among them there is a so-called "student service". In this activity, teachers make four hours a week available to attend students on a shift, answering questions about their respective subjects. Currently the control of records and frequencies is done manually. The application that was developed seeks to help the teacher to have a more accurate record of students who are in attendance, generating reports, receiving daily and weekly e-mails and also supporting the campus teaching sector when decisions need to be made. The researcher has been using it for a year and validating this with a set of teachers.
