Educational digital game 'Pensar e Lavar'
Abstract
The 'Pensar e Lavar' (PeL) game was created with the goal of promoting the development of Computational Thinking (CT) for neurotypical children and those with Intellectual Disabilities (ID). To achieve this, it has as its theme the process of washing clothes in which the pillars of the CT are required to perform the tasks. The development and evaluation of the game was supported by systematic research and a group of experts in Education, Specialized Educational Services, and ID. In the end, PeL went through several stages of evaluation, including its target audience. This evaluation verified that PeL is accessible to neurotypical children and those with ID.
