GameTEd: A repository of educational games to integrate developers, teachers and students
Abstract
Seeking to facilitate access to educational games for use in schools, this article presents the prototype of the GameTEd application. On this platform, users will have access to a repository that brings together educational games, updated by game producers, with the aim of helping to share these resources with the school community. Realizing the relevance of games as educational tools capable of engaging and improving student learning, it is noted that these technologies are often far from the classroom. To encourage Game-Based Learning, producers will be able to publish games and observe feedback from users, who will share their experiences to improve learning effectiveness. In addition, the public will have access to a variety of games by subject and skill, with details on competencies according to the BNCC, target audience and platforms available before download, in addition to personalized resources for teachers and students with the creation of classrooms.
