Abstract

MetaClassroom was developed to support the Residência em TIC 12 (RESTIC-12) project, a training program in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) aimed at young people and adults, created by IREDE and Softex. It uses a metaverse environment with functionalities similar to Distance Education (EaD) platforms. Initially operating in Single Player mode, it now supports Multiplayer interaction through avatars. Technical evaluations with 12 users confirmed its stability and security. Future studies will focus on usability assessments and comparisons with traditional video call tools such as Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and others.
