Obamateca: A Web and Android Application for Book Collection Management
Abstract
This article presents the development of an application designed for managing the library of the Obama team's books, with the aim of optimizing and automating routine tasks, facilitating the work of the scholars responsible for the collection, and improving the user experience. The application offers functionalities such as book registration, user management, and control of loans and returns. The development of the application involved the use of cross-platform technologies (Flutter), a cloud database (Firebase), and MVC architecture. It is concluded that the implementation of this technological solution contributed to the professional development of the students who developed the app and improved the organization of the library for the Obama team members, a model that can be replicated for other research groups.
