GeoScape: Um jogo para exercitar conceitos de áreas de figuras planas
Abstract
This work presents the game “GeoScape” as a proposal to exercise the concepts learned in the classroom about the areas of plane geometric figures through a game design centered on problem-solving in dungeons. The game is aimed at eighth-grade elementary school students, providing exercises on the areas of squares, rectangles, triangles, and trapezoids. The educational strategy adopted to connect the game's mechanics to the mentioned concepts was based on Constructivist Learning Theory. “GeoScape” is categorized as a platform game, developed for Android mobile devices.
