Active Queue Management for the HSTCP Protocol in High Bandwidth-Delay Product Networks
Abstract
This paper introduces the optimal controller HSTCP-H2 AQM for networks which employ the HSTCP protocol as their transport protocol. The synthesis of the controller uses a non-rational approach, in which stability and performance objectives are completely expressed as Linear Matrix Inequalities (LMIs). Results, derived via simulation, show the advantages of adopting HSTCP-H2 rather than RED in high capacity networks.References
