The Proceedings of the 35th Thesis and Dissertation Contest (CTD 2022) bring the papers selected and presented in the edition of the event held in Niterói, RJ, Brazil, from July 31 to August 5, 2022, as part of the 42nd Congress of the Brazilian Computing Society (CSBC 2022), whose theme was "Digital Empowerment: The Role of Computing in Building an Inclusive and Democratic Society". In this issue, the proceedings include 6 Ph.D. Thesis papers and 10 Master's Dissertations. These papers were selected through a blind peer-review process, from a total of 43 Ph.D. Thesis papers and 46 Master's Dissertation submitted, implying an acceptance rate of 14% and 21,7%, respectively. The event's Program Committee Chairs Ana Cristina Bicharra Garcia (UNIRIO) and Denis Rosário (UFPA) organized this volume. The papers in this volume were submitted on 04/07/2022, and accepted for publication on 05/10/2022, having the final version submitted on 05/25/2022.
