The Scientific Initiation Works Contest (CTIC) is an annual event organized and conducted by the Brazilian Society of Computing (SBC), whose objective is to encourage undergraduate students to produce original scientific texts on their research, with a focus in the area of Computation. The CTIC accepts work done by undergraduate students who have developed a study in the area of Computing, even if they are students from other areas. In this Competition the best technical-scientific works of the students of undergraduate courses in Computing at national level are presented and awarded. In the index are summaries of the best papers. The complete papers are available in the Electronic Journal of Scientific Initiation (REIC), which can be accessed in the journal's website
