Abstract

This article presents the musician’s insertion in the universe of musical practices with technological mediations based on open source software. In this work, we present the recreation of the piece Narcissus, by Thea Musgrave, for clarinet and delay. The recreation of this piece was done using current technology and is presented here as an interdisciplinary practice that involved students from the Computing and Music departments.
