Using Storytelling as an Active Learning Methodology: An Experience Report

Abstract

This article is an experience report of the minicourse Using Storytelling as an active learning methodology, held in the VI Ctrl+E. The objective is to report on the experience of the workshop, through a methodology that foresaw the involvement of the participants, taking into account their previous knowledge and experience. To this end, we made use of innovative methodologies such as rotation by stations and gamification, which were applied along with moments of dialogue and sharing of experiences among all involved. This report provided a greater interaction and brought us closer to several fields of work in which Storytelling can be used.
