Oficina de Inkscape: entre o criativo e o digital
Abstract
The experience report in question presents the description of one of the practices developed by a project that sought to strengthen the relationship between basic school and the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA), in an attempt to promote a reflection on the importance of Open Educational Resources (OER) in public education. The general objective was to build an Inkscape workshop, a free vector image editing program, with the intention of provoking students to perceive how image production devices operate, the plasticity of content, and content policies present in web platforms, while stimulating their creativity and criticality towards digital devices and free protocols. The methodology used was qualitative, where the main device for recording our findings is done through a field diary. The results of this experience point to the relevance of using free software and proposing the construction of OER, since it puts students in relation to a context that involves peculiarities of digital literacy practices, highlighting not only the technical notion of vector image production, but also the political and philosophical construction of emancipation and citizenship.
