Avaliação de Jogos Sérios para Controle do Transtorno da Ansiedade Generalizada em Estudantes Universitários

Abstract


Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) affects many areas of human life, including the academic performance of university students. Serious Games were created to ease the problems related to it. Thus, this article aims to find and choose Serious Games with the potential to help these students, analyzing the main difficulties and suggesting usability guidelines for the chosen app in order to improve the TAG characteristic level. For application analysis, a serious game was selected and 25 participants were recruited to perform a set of tasks, with the aim of measuring emotional aspects, comparing performances and capturing opinions about the interfaces. The results prove that positive or negative emotions can significantly impact your performance.
