Sustainable education and pedagogical innovation: a systematic review on biodigesters in the school context
Abstract
This research presents a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) on the role of biodigesters in sustainable education, focusing on the school context. Nineteen articles published between 2020 and 2024 were analyzed, revealing that biodigesters promote environmental, economic, and educational benefits by contributing to the sustainable management of organic waste, the production of renewable energy, and the contextualization of content in the educational process. The study highlights the importance of public policies and educational programs that encourage the use of biodigesters as a sustainable pedagogical tool.
