Identificação de Soft Skills a Partir da Avaliação de Anúncios de Vagas em Tecnologia da Informação

Abstract

Soft Skills are interpersonal skills that characterize our relationships with other people. In the area of information technology, the development of these skills is essential due to the dynamic nature of activities. This study aims to map the Soft Skills required in job advertisements in the IT area. 400 advertisements were analyzed and more than 75% of them were related to Soft Skills, with teamwork, communication, proactivity, and problem-solving being the most cited. Soft Skills were also identified for different profiles such as Software Developer, Systems Analyst, and Software Engineer. It is concluded that non-technical skills are gaining importance from the recruitment stages, and it is up to professionals to develop these skills in order to adapt to the reality of the market.
