Abstract

This article presents a project related to the development of a web application called “WillChair”, as a solution to the difficulty of acquiring accessibility equipment. The project aims to allow direct contact between an equipment supplier and a person who needs this product, through a virtual chat, enabling them to negotiate and finalize the operation. Being a course completion work, hybrid methodologies were applied, which combine traditional and agile methodologies aimed at software development, in addition to Design Thinking, which focuses on the needs of users, who in this context are people with temporary or permanent physical disabilities. The created web application is adaptable to different devices and screen sizes, to reach a wider audience. Its intuitive and accessible design ensures users find what they want quickly. By establishing direct communication with suppliers, those looking for accessibility items can negotiate the purchase or rental, facilitating the process of obtaining accessibility items.
